Seafood Packaging
Noboco Styro Containers Ltd. produces and
distributes packaging systems that became the standard
in the industry, not only in B.C. but in other parts of the world, and quickly
became known in the western United States and Canada as the specialist in
insulated seafood packaging. In less than a year, shippers of live and fresh
wild harvested seafood were adopting the Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) systems
developed by Noboco, and the company became the dominant force in their field.
Molding
Noboco
is known as a "shape molder", an EPS molder specializing in molding
complicated shapes, primarily for packaging, as opposed to the more common
"block molder" who produces EPS blocks which are generally sliced into
sheets and used for insulation.
Noboco and Aqua-Pak are the largest shape molders in the Pacific Northwest.
